Experience the fun of hot glass in this 3 hour class.  Students will use major burners and borosilicate glass tubing to create unique hand blown ornaments.  We will start by making a set of glass icicles, perfect for the season.  We will then create unique hand blown glass balls and ornaments using various glass blowing techniques.  All materials are included in the price of the class.

Ever go to a bead show and wonder how the artist made that beautiful glass bead? Experience the fun of hot glass in this 3 hour class.  Students will use minor burners and soft glass (morretti) to create unique handmade glass beads.  Each student will learn to sculpt and manipulate hot glass using a torch and various hand tools.  If time allows students will also be able to try their hands at making a glass drawer pull.  Techniques covered vary from class to class depending on enrollment.   All materials are included in the price of the class.

Students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

In this 3 hour class students will create beautiful works of glass art.  Each student will learn to create fused glass mosaic tiles that can be turned into dishes or left flat as window hangings or tiles.  All materials are included in the price of the class.

Students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

In this 3 hour class students will create beautiful works of glass art.  Each student will make a variety of items.  Students will learn to create beautiful fused glass jewelry and dishes using a variety of techniques.  All materials are included in the price of the class.

During this 3 hour class students will learn a variety of basic metal working techniques.  Projects include Metal Cuff Bracelets, Earrings, and Pendants.  This class has a heavy emphasis on sheet metal and fabrication techniques.  Metals choices include Sterling Silver, Copper and Brass. All materials are included in the price of the class.  All skill levels welcome.

Session 2: Saturday February 18; 1-4pm

 During this 3 hour class students will learn some basic metal working techniques.  Each student will create a textured sterling silver ring using processes like hammering, stamping, forming and soldering.  All materials are included in the price of the class.

 During this 3 hour class students will learn the basics wire wrapping  techniques.  Each student will create a unique wire wrapped gemstone pendant.  The techniques taught in this class can easily be adapted to create earrings and other types of jewelry as well.  Basic materials kit is included, advanced projects may incur additional expense.  All skill levels welcome.

In this 3 hour class students will learn basic chain maille techniques using a combination of metals including copper and sterling silver.  Projects and techniques will include a variety of ways to create Pendants, earrings and bracelets.  All materials are included in the price of the class.  All Skill levels welcome.
