Session 1: (4 Classes Total) Tuesday Oct. 5, 6:30-9:30pm (NO CLASS OCT. 26)
In this 4 week class students will learn the basic processes and techniques used in glass fusing.The first day students will begin by creating some simple fused glass jewelry and tiles to gain a basic understanding of how to assemble fused glass pieces.The second day we will move into some more advanced processes like pattern bars and small aperture pours (pot melts).In the third class students will learn how to use the pattern bars and pot melts to create unique gallery ready works of glass art from jewelry to dishware.The fourth class will be spent continuing the skills learned in previous classes and finishing projects, if time allows we will also have an orientation to gilding glass with gold.Basic materials kit is included, advanced projects may incur additional expense.All skill levels welcome.
In this 4 week class students will learn the basic processes and techniques used in metal working.The first class students will begin by creating a Brass or Copper Cuff bracelet and a pair of Sterling Silver Earrings. The second class we will make textured sterling silver rings.In the third class students will create pendants using a couple of different traditional metal working techniques.The fourth class will focus on honing the skills learned in the first three classes by creating and completing a final project.Basic materials kit is included, advanced projects may incur additional expense.All skill levels welcome.
12 hour blocks of open studio time can be purchased for the reduced rate of $100. Time includes the use of any of our 3 studios (flame working, fusing, or metals). Cards are good for 6 months from the date of purchase. Time is by appointment, please call (978) 835-0990 to schedule time.

Looking for something fun and different for your child’s next birthday party? How about a private class in fused glass jewelry and dishes? Students will create a number of pieces that they get to keep and will have a terrific time doing so. Children must be at least 8 years old, 1 parent must remain present for the duration of the class. Rates start as low as $30/child including materials.
