Looking for something fun and different for your child’s next birthday party? How about a private class in fused glass jewelry and dishes? Students will create a number of pieces that they get to keep and will have a terrific time doing so. Children must be at least 8 years old, 1 parent must remain present for the duration of the class. Rates start as low as $30/child including materials.

12 hour blocks of open studio time can be purchased for the reduced rate of $100. Time includes the use of any of our 3 studios (flame working, fusing, or metals). Cards are good for 6 months from the date of purchase. Time is by appointment, please call (978) 835-0990 to schedule time.
Time includes the use of studio space, tools and equipment as listed under the individual studio listings. Kiln firings, materials and incidentals are not included in open studio time. Some materials and supplies can be purchased at the studio please call for details.

Experience the fun of hot glass in this 3 hour class.Students will use major burners and borosilicate glass tubing to create unique hand blown bud vases.Each student will learn to sculpt and manipulate hot glass using a torch and various hand tools.All materials are included in the price of the class.

Session 1: Saturday June 9; 1-4pm Session 2: Sunday July 15; 1-4pm Experience the fun of hot glass in this 3 hour class.Students will use major burners and borosilicate glass tubing to create unique hand blown ornaments.We will start by making a set of glass icicles, perfect for the season.We will then create unique hand blown glass balls and ornaments using various glass blowing techniques.All materials are included in the price of the class.

Ever go to a bead show and wonder how the artist made that beautiful glass bead? Experience the fun of hot glass in this 3 hour class.Students will use minor burners and soft glass (morretti) to create unique handmade glass beads.Each student will learn to sculpt and manipulate hot glass using a torch and various hand tools.If time allows students will also be able to try their hands at making a glass drawer pull.Techniques covered vary from class to class depending on enrollment. All materials are included in the price of the class.
